The most important thing you can do to improve your photography skills, is to do things you have never done before, and for me countryside, or seaside photography is difficult.

I use a 4/3 mirrorless Nikon with a 50mm 1.8 and it works for the streets, but when you bring me out of my natural environment I can struggle. And I did.

I can’t blame the camera though. I turned up to do a Yoga shoot, and I had the right equipment, I just didn’t pack right for holiday snaps. Still, I tried, and these are some of the results you can get when you do. Always remember, only a bad worker blames their tools, or their camera in my case.
These are all beautiful. 🤗

Thank you! They are a bit lucky as we only had the one day and a few hours of light.

The Wild Atlantic Way is 2500km long “I THINK YOU’RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER LENS”. Doesn’t The Burren feel like a different planet!

Absolutely😂 It’s amazing. I didn’t do the Cliffs as I was with a person who lives there and they brought me to places just off the way.

Very impressive work James – some really timeless tones in some of your B + W’s here.

Thanks. It is the most uninhabited place I have ever been to to be honest.
